Enjoy the sights and sounds of beautiful habitats while sitting on a comfortable bench dedicated with your very own personalized message at the National Aviary! Benches are made from recycled plastic materials or metal, and can be found throughout the National Aviary - both indoors and outdoors.
Bench plaque dimensions are 7 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall, made from engraved brass plating.

Penguin Point Bench (Outdoor)
Penguin Point benches are nestled in one of our most popular areas - outside looking into Penguin Point. Take a seat and enjoy our fun-loving penguins on this bench made from recycled plastic material.
Conservation Station Bench (Outdoor)
The Conservation Station inside the Condor Court Habitat is a key location for catching a glimpse at our majestic Andean Condors. This area is a hub for guests and offers a shaded spot to take in the beauty of our birds. This bench is made from recycled plastic.
Canary's Call Bench - Facing Bat Habitat (Indoor)
Canary’s Call is an indoor habitat with immersive, museum-style exhibit with interpretive displays that bring to life the stories that birds are telling. A colony of Malayan Flying Foxes hang out in Canary’s Call. These large fruit-eating bats have a wingspan of nearly five feet, and reveal surprisingly cute faces when they stretch their wings. This bench is located facing these adorable flying foxes and are made from recycled plastic.
Canary's Call Bench - Facing Lorikeet Habitat (Indoor)
Canary’s Call is an indoor habitat with immersive, museum-style exhibit with interpretive displays that bring to life the stories that birds are telling. A flock of Lorikeets occupies and entire side with multiple daily public feedings. This bench is located facing the energetic Lorikeets and is made from recycled plastic.
Rose Garden Bench (Outdoor)
The historic Rose Garden was restored in 2021 to be more reflective of its turn of the century design with four walls, and landscaping that provides a place for reflection and meditation. Community members and park visitors are all welcome to visit. Benches in this area offer guests that place for reflection.
